Chef Travis is a Lake Tahoe native of 20 years, who knows the ski areas inside and out. Before he was Chef Travis Woodcock, Travis was known around the lake as a competitive Freestyle skiier who competed successfully in many events including the Junior Olympics and Junior Nationals; in 1998 he took first place at the Junior National in Aerials. Travis soon became known as “Showtime” for his smooth flips and dizzying spins. Carrying his athletic focus to the kitchen, Travis puts on a show with his strong command of gourmet culinary techniques, efficiency, and easy going sense of humor.
